Sea mist

Low cloud shrouded the shipping lines. A ship’s horn sounding its passage up the Mersey. The lights of New Brighton blinked into a hazy existence. Exposed streams of shifting sands as far as you could see, and between the silent watchers of this cast iron shore out rang the calls of distant waders.
