Let there be light…

… and behold, it was dull, drab and dreary – the sky has had a Tupperware lid on all day, and that day has ended with a curtain of rain sodden mist hanging everywhere.   Besides which I have spent far too long on trains and at railway stations to get much light or warmth.

So I have had to turned to an old photo from last November taken after a heavy rain storm as I walked back from Manesty woods to Portinscale. The sun was directly ahead of me and the path dropped quite steeply at the end of this avenue helping creating this golden glow which had all but gone by the time I reached the end of this path, which was a shame –  I was half-expecting to meet a group of Elves.
